Trapped in storms of freezing rain
Cries of grief like hailstones fall
Everywhere we turn from pain
Through this land of hate we crawl
Salvations forgotten you
Oh! Gluttonous sons of men
Diminish to obscurity

The more that I search - the less I find

Down here a great beast lurks
Howling through his throats of blood
Belly swollen, talons rip
Wretches flail, toil through the mud
And we too, howl like (wild) dogs
Beneath this freezing storms descent
And I, (sad soul) am not the only one
For all these souls suffer my lament
